We've been hearing bits and pieces about the Asian Carp invasion into the Great Lakes, primarily Lake Michigan. The State of Illinois says it is too costly to close the shipping canals which may allow this disruptive invasive species to end up here, but at what cost to these beautiful bodies of water.
