ANOTHER HAPPY NAUTICRAFT OWNER!

I waited more than 6 months to finally get my Escapade. At every step the folks at Nauticraft were very helpful and friendly. I felt like one of their family - I guess, in a way, I am now. The trip from Michigan to Texas was a long one, but worth every mile. Even with the trailer cover on, we turned heads along the way. Several times we had to answer questions explaining what kind of boat it was.
Finally, on Memorial Day, we brought it to our local park and launched it. I am a total nubile in nautical things; and the Escapade being my first vessel, I was a little scared. My friend joined me in my maiden voyage which helped ease my nerves. I was very surprised how easy it was to handle. Within minutes I felt like I'd been pedaling it for years. Even more surprising was how stable and confidently it handled waves. At one point a half dozen youngsters were floating along the shoreline and one screamed, "Hey, where did you get that boat?" Then followed with, "Does it have a motor?" I quickly responded, "No. it's a bicycle!" They were impressed with that. I had so much fun that day, and it was only about a half hour of pedaling.
All my neighbors have stopped by to take a look and are seriously impressed - all the kiddos want to use it. Right now I'm waiting for a lift to be installed at my house. When it comes I know I'll be using my Escapade nearly every day. I need the exercise. I'm so glad I did my homework and decided on this model. I couldn't be any happier. Virginia Wayne

    Virgina,

You will never regret buying a Nauticraft, and your boat will continue to amaze and inspire you long after the "new" wears off.

    Have fun!

    Virgina,
I live on a large, gator filled lake in Florida. I have used my Escapade about a dozen times, and love it! Just need an easier way to get into the boat... what type of lift are you buying for your Escapade? I am looking for one that you could put on a dock...thanks!

No doubt, Sean. Even at 100 degree temps here in Texas, the Escapade beckons me out, and I comply when the sun goes down a little. I LOVE this boat!

Mike in Florida, I had a personal water craft lift installed...a ShoreStation, #SS853. It mounts to our retaining wall via long bracket on one side and has a single leg that anchors into the water on the other. Since the Escapade has a 20" draft I had to replace the hoist rails with a 2 x 12. It took a little custom fitting, but it works beautifully! I couldn't be happier. Good luck.
