Nauticraft boats are designed with the user in mind, creating an efficient and comfortable alternative to other human powered boats. The fully padded recumbent seats are positioned to help reduce pressure on the lower back and knees while pedaling. The padding is Drain fast foam, which allows water to filter through it, not collect in it like a sponge. The seats adjust to 11 different positions fore and aft to accommodate different leg lengths. Pedalers stay comfortable even while on an extended excursions. The pedal drive system efficiently spins a 15” propeller, making movement through the water seem effortless. Each model is equipped with a molded in swim platform with reentry hand holds on the rear deck. See Picasa Photos

The sailboat type hull positions the operator down inside the cockpit, behind a removable protective windshield which guards against wind, wave and other spray. Features a dry shelf up front for items you don’t want to get wet, like cell phones and other digital equipment. Stretch cords are mounted in front, handy for holding towels, life jackets and even a beverage. A rear bench seat fits 1-2 people, with a storage compartment hidden under the seat cushion.

The Encore by Nauticraft is the perfect choice for couples and families. With side by side fully padded recumbent seats and a bench seat in the rear, a group of 4 can take a spin out on the lake with ease. Conveniently placed steering handle allows the pilot control of the maneuverable double rudder system. Plenty of storage, both in the front and under the rear deck, for towels, beverages or electronics. The Encore’s hull is self bailing, and is virtually a dry ride, with an infrequent spray here and there around the pedal drive unit. See More Photos
Encore
P -
Pedal
What’s better than one efficient pedal drive system? Two efficient pedal drive systems! Each pedaler spinning their own propeller, at a pace they set, not their partner. Both storage compartments are fully functional in this pedal only version. In the rear compartment you can find the “clean out hole”, handy in removing weeds from the propellers.
Encore P/E
-
Pedal/Electric
What if YOU run out of gas or get caught in the rain? With the Encore P/E, the additional electric trolling motor gives you an alternative to human powered propulsion. Environmentally clean, the 52 lb. motor is powered by a 12 volt system. The AGM sealed marine battery (not included) is hidden away in the front compartment with the electrical support components, and is easily charged using regular 110 volt current. A compact box controller with forward-reverse switch and twist knob speed control is conveniently positioned next to the steering handle. If you really have to get where you’re going, you can pedal right along with the motor! No, you probably won’t be able to water ski behind it, but you will have fun!
Encore E -
Electric
This model converts the Encore to a true all electric boat. The elimination of the pedal drive system gives a spacious interior for comfortable luxurious cruising. The powerful 52-pound thrust underwater motor is powered by a 12 volt deep cycle marine battery. The battery, converter and battery charger are located in the Encore’s front storage compartment. Like the Encore P/E, the speed controller is located next to the steering control on the starboard side (that’s the right side for you novice boaters).

Tribute: A Sailor’s Delight | PDF Brochure

This sprightly little sailing dinghy is a throwback to the days of yore when a sailboat wasn’t a sailboat unless it had at least two sails, no matter how small it was. Yet, here is the Tribute with modern day lines, sloop rigged, constructed of modern day materials, and produced using today’s preferred choice in small boat manufacturing- Rotational Molding.
Its modest dimensions (4 meters or 13’2”) belie its capacity for sailboat fun. After all, who was it that said “The smaller the boat the bigger the fun”? This is a sailboat that was designed to be easily sailed by one person but will easily carry up to 3.
The Tribute has a generously sized cockpit with molded in fore and aft seating. The gunwales are so nicely rounded that when spirited sailing calls for hiking out there are no uncomfortable sharp edges.
Comfort and ease of use have been designed into this sailboat with these features:
- Harken fittings and roller furling for the jib
- Molded in mast step well acts as a halyard pocket and to store incidentals
- Concave floor (sole) with a drain
- Large radiused corners for bracing your feet when things are happening
- Unique swing-up rudder (patent pending) with tiller extension (hiking stick)
- Rotationally molded dagger board that will float if inadvertently dropped overboard
- Molded in transom handles and bow cross hole to assist in portability and are useful for retaining line management
This is a sailboat that will prove to be delightful to anyone with even modest sailing experience!
